Miss all the music you loved in VMK? Now you can download it yourself! It's easy but it will take a while depending on how many of the tracks you want.
Edit: Its now SO much easier thanks to a post by Thedogboy!!
Its easier just to download them from here:
VMK Music
Part 1 (http://www.mediafire.com/?zmlxlnvxzzx)
Part 2 (http://www.mediafire.com/?2mdyxnmgilj)
Old instructions:
1) go to http://www.vmkarchives.110mb.com
2) Go to whichever room/map you want the track from
3) Click on "View" in the toolbar, and then "Source". This will open up the HTML code for the page.
4) A few lines down it will say something like this: bgsound src="tsquare_mainstreet.wav"
5) Copy the part that says: tsquare_mainstreet.wav
6) Open Windows Media Player
7) In WindowsMP, click on "File" and then "Open URL" in the toolbar.
8) (Really Important Step!) Just so you know, you can't just put tsquare_mainstreet.wav in the URL box. You have to have a complete URL address. So for any track you want, just make sure it has http://www.vmkarchives.110mb.com in front of it. The URL code in WindowsMP should look like this: http://www.vmkarchives.110mb.com/tsquare_mainstree.wav Unless you do this, it wont work.
9) Enter your new URL in the URL box in the media player. The music should start playing!
10) Now that you have the track opened, click "File" again in the media player toolbar, and then click "Save As." Save it in a new VMKMusic folder if you'd like :]
And there you have it! You can make a cd, upload it to your iPod through Itunes, or just listen on the PC whenever you want! :]
