Avatar Help

Ok, Well I just made an avatar that took me about two hours to make, Now it wont upload as an avatar, It just shows the first picture. (Avatar is animated). I know it works because on an arcade forum it works just fine for me.

The picture is right here:

First of all, you have to save it as a ".gif". Did you do that?

Yup, It's already .gif, I know that stuff ;).

Did you hit browse then select the picture or did you put it as a URL?

I don't think animated images work if you put the URL.

Or maybe try the other way around..? Lol idk

Well this is what i do

1. Go To Edit Any Thing You Posted Go advanced and manage attachtments

2. Once you do that you will upload the picture now once you do that its uploaded then you can click on the thing that u uploaded and you will have a link at the top lol

3. After All That you go to edit your signature backspace the the first letters there then paste in the link ta da lol

like when you do it you backspace the http:// then put in the link or paste in the link

OK, are you sure you didn't mistype or put the img code in instead?

Its an invalid link because it is under attachments, and it doesn't have a ".gif" or ".jpg" ect.

If you put it in your album in the forums, copy the direct link (I think it is called that on the forums..)

or go to an image hosting site (xs.to (http://www.xs.to), imageshack (http://www.imageshack.us), photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com)) and copy the direct link.

Nope it's an invalid link when it has .gif
Already tried that from my album ;).
And also tried xs.to :(.

It seems like the site's file, because it works fine on other forums..

Try doing it on a different image hosting site.
Try Tinypic, it's what I use.

Hi Base.
I'm not sure if this is the problem, but the size of your image is over 64.0 KB. I know it says 100x100 pixels, but that could be a bug in the system.

I tried your avatar on my account, and it isn't working, I tried using Tinypic for it, and it still doesn't work, and when I browse it from my computer, the avatar isn't animated.

Here is what I get, so this made me think that it was the "over 64.0 bytes".

When you upload it to the hosting site though, the preview is fine and animated, therefore it's a problem here. I'll let the other mods know. :)
