6-16-08: VFK Updates

Hello,

I just logged on to see that the Friends Lists have been organized. All online users are now located at the top of your friends list. (in alphabetical order) And now all offline users are located at the bottom/under the online users. (in alphabetical order)

Also there is no more "invisible box" around each player/item. You now have to click the actual character/item for it to display the buttons. This should make exiting rooms and walking around a tad bit easier.

Finally, there is a new Father's Day Quest (today) that has been posted a few times already here. Just thought I would include it also. ;)

You have to actually click the person instead of clicking around them. Its a lot nicer!

these Lava lamps (especially the Blue one) will be in my opinion VERY rare after beta. but ya might want to save them for a while

They said it was easy quest. That means more people will play. Then again, it is only open for 5 hours...and for one day. They might release it later as well.

Thanks for the info I wonder if the quest is the same as the one they had last
night when some of us were fast asleep. I think VFK are working really hard to get things going and improving every day it seems. I would like the map to be next, it is such a long trek to the 'Bird Game'.

This is wonderful news!! They are doing an amazing job in such a short time. I just hope the next thing with friends list is to get rid of the double names. Some of the ppl are shown twice - once in upper case and the second name in lower case - hope this gets cleared up too!

Yes I agree, they need to fix this first before anything else. Sometimes I click the lowercase and it doesn't allow me to follow them.

There are many animation boxes in the game and it used to be that if you clicked the spot next to the player, you would hit the player and see the name. Now, you have to actually CLICK on the person for that box to show.

I hope that the next thing they start working on is the "Messaging" system.

Like getting it so that theres a "Reply" button once you read a message. Cause its realling annoying to have to go look for their name just to "Reply."

I also hope that they make it so like on VMK the "Letter" would blink when you got a friend request/message, and it would also make a sound, but just once.
