That'd be super cool, even if we had to start back at beta, but no. I highly doubt it.
VFK's awesome though, and most of my friends transfered over, so I've still got them which is all I really cared about. :)

No, I don't think it will come back. Even if it did, I think alot of the ppl from vmk think like me. Di$ney lied to us and then just slammed the gate in our faces. I am still very bitter about all of it. I will never forgive them for what they did to all of us. Angel Fancy

Yes VMK will come back because the day after VMK closed [ the day VFK opened] I went to VMK and it said it will be back in October!

well i hope it does come back but i dont think it will although i have heard 2 rumours that probably are not true. The first is that vmk is coming back as a pay to play and the other is that its coming back for a month or something like that and then closing for good! probably not true tho sorry

VMK will be back but not in the same form or name as we all know it.
The theme of VMK was way too popular for Disney not to bring it back in another form, my guess is they'll call it something like Disney's Virtual Kingdom... DVK.
VMK was NOT created or owned by Disney, they leased it along with all of the Hosts and most of the staff. That lease was pulled out from under Disney's feet under a legal contract.
Disney won't make the same mistake again, but it takes time to create something as beautiful and wonderful as vmk was. :mickey:

The reason I say "yes" is because I don't think the other Disney online games attracted most of the VMK players like Disney expected. I also am hearing many complaints from POTC players that they are bored with the game already. And I have also seen it advertised on non-Disney channels which makes me think the numbers of new players is not as high as Disney would like. Also add in the decrease in sales of movies that we were purchasing to get virtual items, VMK pirate pin sales, in park visits for quests, etc. It would not surprise me if the execs rethought their decision and realized it was a mistake.

Well.. I hate to say it but I don't think that VMK will be coming back. I've been at Walt Disney World for the past two weeks and I come home on saturday and while I been here I have seen nothing to do with VMK.

Even tough it won't come back, with all the creative people at Disney, they are sure to come up with something even better then VMK, and i hope they do something almost as big as it, but longer. It was extremely sad when it closed, but I cant wait until VFK opens to the public :D

I don't think it will come back. They did close VMK for good and if it did open again - it would be strange and many questions will be asked like "Why did it close in the first place?". Plus it was a "Promotion", and when promotion's end, it won't come back.. Although I would love VMK to open and bring back VMK joy.
