LeBron, this is from an extremely educated person in the sport of basketball who is not a fan of either teams.

Kobe: He's a legend, very versatile and very clutch.

LeBron: Will be a legend, extremely athletic(more athletic than Kobe), needs to work on his jump shot.


LeBron can get into the paint, and is extremely athletic, he is a pass first super-star which is EXTREMELY rare to find these days. At this point in his career LeBron is better than Kobe was at this point. Kobe is on the decline considering he is getting into his thirties in which NBA player's numbers start to decline.

LeBron pretty much single handedly led the Cavaliers to the 07 NBA Finals, he's just THAT good.

Kobe had a Shaq who was putting up his best numbers to help him out. He also had a Pau Gasol in his prime+Andrew Bynum in his prime to help him out.

The Cavaliers are built around LeBron and its their year.


FLAWS:

LeBron: He often pulls up and takes ill-advised jump shots when he can easily get in the lane. He is good enough where he can nail most of them, but some are just atrocious.

Kobe: He is slowly starting to decline, while LB is entering his prime. He also looks to take a shot before he wants to pass to his teammates.


At this point, there is not really an arguement, LeBron is better, the Cavaliers are better than the Lakers this year despite was ESPN may say. They blew them out of the building when they played them.
