How does vbPlaza work?

It is sorta confusing.. how do you earn points? Also, why is the "Bank" one of the items you can buy? Also, where is the FAQ that the news article was talking about?

You can earn points by doing a number of things.

-Posting
-Playing in the arcade
-Donations
-Special Events
-Lottery
