Chapter 1
It was the middle of the night, I was sound asleep when I heard the sound of footsteps coming down the hallway. I woke up and looked at my bedroom door, when the hallway light came on and shined underneath it. I watched and wondered who it might be, I thought perhaps it was one of my siblings getting up to use the bathroom, or maybe one of my parents getting up. But I soon realized that it wasn't anyone in my house that turned the hallway light on. This person then walked directly in front of my door, and proceeded to open it. I was lying in my bed, paralyzed in fear when the door fully opened. I pretended to be asleep, but was still secretly watching. I saw a large silhouette standing in my doorway, I didn't know who they were, or what they wanted.
The man then said to me "I know where you are." I began panicking and sat up in my bed quickly to try and grab the phone in order to call the police. But the man was incredibly fast and grabbed me before I could get to the phone. He then threw me back onto my bed and held me down. I struggled but he was incredibly strong. The moonlight was shining into my bedroom through the window, and when the man leaned in, it illuminated his face. He was something out of a horror film, a true monster. His face was elongated, he had razor teeth, long, sharp nails, his skin was a light gray color, and his eyes were white, except for the pupil. He looked at me with a large, rather frightening smile, and said in a shrill voice "Hello, young man." He then opened his mouth, and exposed a horrific set of teeth, and proceeded to bite me on the shoulder. I gasped for air. The pain was so unbearable, I wanted to scream my lungs out, but I just couldn't. The man then let go of me, and slipped into the darkness of my room. The hallway light went out, and I was left on my bed, gasping for air, thinking I was going to die.
A few minutes past, and the pain suddenly slipped away, just like the man who caused it. I felt completely normal, no better, no worse than how I had felt the day before, but I did feel the need to sleep. I grew incredibly tired within just a few short seconds, and fell asleep fairly quickly. I woke up a few hours later, the sun was up but wasn't shining into my room yet, it was going to be a beautiful day. I got out of bed, thinking about the events that took place. I went to the bathroom and used it. I then thought about the possibility that it might have been all a dream, and that I was asleep the entire time. I then went over to the sink to wash my hands, looked into the mirror and saw some incredible changes to my face. My eyes were bright green, my skin was a light pale, and my hair was black. I then pulled my shirt down to look at my shoulder, and saw a large, but healed over bite mark. I put it all together, the man who appeared in my room last night had turned me into a Vampire.
Chapter 2
A million thoughts rushed into my head. Too many to recall. I then shut the bathroom curtains and sat on the floor tearing up. I thought about what would happen to me, how would I explain this, what was I going to do?
I was so confused and so afraid. My parents and siblings were already up, and I feared that if I went downstairs, I would lose all control and attack them. I then heard my mom yell up the stairs to me "We're going to go to the park for a few hours, do you want to come?" I then thought of a reply, and said "No, I think I'm gonna stay home..... I'm.. I'm not feeling very well." my mom than said "Do you think you'll be ok? Or do you need think I should stay here to help?" I then replied "No, I think I'll be fine, it's probably nothing. You guys can go, I'll be ok." My mom replied once more and said "Alright, just call me if you need anything. I love you!" I said back " Ok, I love you too!"
My parents and siblings then left, giving me time to think everything out.
I then went into my room, the sun was still not shining into my room, so I closed the curtains and sat on my bed. I sat there for quite a while, until I finally decided to leave. I wrote my family a very long note, explaining to them that I felt it would be best if I left, but I would return eventually.
I then packed up a backpack that I had, put on some sunglasses, my thickest clothing I had, and made sure that every part of me was covered.
I didn't know where to go, so I decided to just go to the hill tops. Nobody lived up there, there were large forests, and other things that would keep me safe.
Chapter 3
It took me hours to get to the hill tops, but when I finally made it, it was already nighttime. I walked through a forest, and started to become fairly scared. There were noises coming from all directions and I continuously saw shadows moving feet away from me. I then found a small pond and it looked like a safe place to stop and rest. So I put my backpack down, took off my sunglasses and the extra clothing I had on, and sat beside the pond, thinking about everything. I sat there for a few hours, when I started hearing the sound of sticks snapping, and tree branches moving around. I looked around, but could see absolutely nothing. I waited for something, or someone to appear, when I saw a figure several yards away. It was a woman, dressed in all white, with blond hair and light skin. She was beautiful, and she was walking toward me. I stood up and when the woman came close enough for me to see her fully, I asked "Who are you?" she smiled and replied "I am one of you." I looked at her and said "How do you know what I am?" She looked at me and said "I was like you once. Confused, heartbroken and afraid." She went on to explain how she became a Vampire as well, and things of that nature. We spoke to each other for hours while walking through the forest, when she asked me "Would you like to come to my house? I'll be able to tell you everything you want to know there." I was cautious, but I agreed to follow her. We walked for a few more minutes when we finally arrived to her home. It was a nice little house in the woods, was very modern for a woman who seemed to be from a very long time in the past. We went inside where she showed me her home, and told me that whatever was hers, is now mine as well.
What do you guys think of it so far? Let me know. :'D
