Need help on Halo!!!

Ok, so I have a problem on Halo Custom Edition. I downloaded a map titled Extinction and I tried finding my maps folder and I can't find it. Should I make a new maps folder and add all my maps to it or just find the maps folder by doing some sort of thing to get it?!? Please help me badly, I heard Halo CE is very awesome and I will break down if I don't get this to work!!!! :(

I googled it and found this :

Go to www.downloads.com and search for WinRaR in the search bar (if you already have WinRar good. You can also use WinZip.), download it.
Once downloaded go to the website www.halomaps.org and you'll see Halo CE Maps on the homepage, click on this link. Click a map and it will say Download Now, do this. When its done downloading a window should apear, it will have three icons on it one will say mapname.map, the other mapname re-me file and the third re-me. go up to the address bar and copy the address.
Open WinRaR and where it says find file paste the address, near the top there should be an icon that says Extract File click it. find the address of your Halo CE and paste it in the FIND FILE bar of the WinRaR and then hit display, a Halo CE icon should appear with folder icons cascading downward hit the folder that says Map and then at the bottom of WinRaR hit ok. It should say extracting and then done.
Go on Halo CE and try starting a multiplayer game with that map just to make sure you have it.

Eventually, it didn't work. I tried it and I can't get it extract it says access denied. Is there anyway to fix this?!? I made it a Media Player thing to try it to work. I messed it up by doing that. How can I take that away?!?

Never mind, I just been able to find the maps folder without WinRAR. It seems it was on my folders that I never checked. Well, thanks for the help guys. Please close this thread.
