Calling all band geeks!

I'm a French horn player. (1st chair. =D) Uh yeah...I'm bored...what instrument do you play and what chair are you (if you have chairs) oh and do you march? I march next year and I'm a little nervous about it...if you don't march (and if you do) do you have to play pep-band music? If you do what's your favorite song that y'all play? I like "You give love a bad name" hahaa.

OH and do you have All-Region, Area, District...etc tryouts?

I have all-region on November 8th.

I am a trumpet player and we just go in abc order.
and no tryouts.

I play the clarinet obviously.. hehe

I do marching and I'm in the top band at my school. It's a small wind ensemble that goes to different championships.

For marching band, I do field show and parade competitions. This year's theme is Nintendo music! Woot woot! It's so much fun to play. ^_^

This year, we're going to Disney's Magic Music Days at Disneyland. That's gonna be on October 9-10.

We've had 2 competitions so far this year. The first one we got First place and outstanding woodwinds, outstanding brass and outstanding color guard.

The other competition we went to was last Saturday and there were 8 bands in our division which is a pretty big sized division... We got second place there and outstanding percussion.

I love competitions! They're so much fun!! ^_^
