Fairy Magic :: Should be removed or not.

People in VFK keep complaining that the people who use fairy magic, should cease to do so because it causes lag. Well, my question is, that, if it causes lag, and people are complaining about it, why did the creators make the fairymagic? I think the fairy magic should stay, and that people shouldn't complain just because of a little lag.

The developers who made the fairy magic, i bet took ALOT of time to make the magic. Also, players even go as far as to swear with vulgar language just because they think the magic is causing lag. They should respect what the developers have done for them, the time they have took to make this fun enjoyable game.

Im fine everything is going great until a fairy
walks in and then it freezes like crazy.

I think they should not allow it in public rooms or fix the lag. and in the rooms the owner has a choice for no magic or not. IT DOES CAUSE THE LAG

First off.
You never bought it.
Secondly, When the quest was out... no one thought it would cause lag and we all thought it was a great idea. Idk where you have been :/
& Actually magic effects do cause lag.
It did in VMK & it does in VFK.

part of all online games is lag.... have u EVER played a game w/o lag? i havent! and the developers prolly took a long time creating it, they shouldnt just take away all their hard work! if u dont like it, dont use it but let other ppl make their choice by themselves
we no lag was on VMK to, but we didnt complain that much bc it was a good game, and im sure this game will get way better

ITs just asking people to not use it when there is alot of people in a room
because it makes it much worse than what it needs to be.
Especially if they are just standing there not even flying some place.
Which is what the magic was made for.

In my opinion.. I think they need to have a button for us to check on or off to allows to not see magic at all, or to see magic.

Vfk just needs to reduce the lag. I hate when people say don't use magic. It is just like saying dont wear hats because they are extra ( wings and hats or effects of the magic ) they add extra lag. And so do shoes and jackets so if magic shouldn't be allowed in some rooms, neither should hats shoes and jackets.

Exactly! While the magic does contribute to some lag (like everything does), it really comes down to how fast your own computer is, or how many ppl are in the game atm. If the game is full, it won't matter if ppl use magic - it's still going to be a laggy mess! I use my magic whenever I want to; if ppl do ask me to turn it off, most of the time I will just to be nice. LOL, most of the time I notice that the ppl asking me to turn it off are ppl that don't have the magic - jealousy?? But Fairy Magic should definitely stay!

VFK has enough stuff ATM but we can't enjoy the stuff they have out right now bc of the lag, so They should work on the Lag before continuing (SP?) with the project their working on ATM.

it does seem unfair that everyone else has slower connections due to their magic
but at the same time i think it would be unfair if they were forced not to use it.

They are working on sometihng where you can turn off other's magic. So it will look and be off to you but to everyone else it would be on... at least that's what I've heard.

Hmm... Well I can't really post a good opinion on this considering, for me, there's not really much difference between a room with people using magic and a room with nobody in it... Both are equally laggy for me...

Well look, the developers worked very hard to create the fairy magic, because if most of you, as I am sure some of you are, computer programmers, graphic pros. You know how much work actually does go behind making the Kingdom possible. When people are telling other people to turn off their fairy magic because they say it is causing problems for them, that is just like telling a cook who made a great dish that the dish tastes terrible. The cook's feelings will be hurt, same as would for the developers who worked so hard and took time away from their real life to create fun interesting magics for us to use. We shouldn't be quarreling over not being allowed to use this magic, because if you experiance lag, you should then try to help the developers make the lag go, and create the Kingdom the magical place it should be. =)

I can understand people asking others not to use magic in GUEST rooms.... but in public rooms.... you should not. It is not like it is YOUR room and you can't control anything anybody does in there. So if you have alot of lag I suggest leaving instead of complaining about it because It will be the quick fix....

I think VFK Should ONLY Let Users use fairy magic ONCE a day.

It REALLY depends on the specs of your computer.
Yes, magic adds to it,
but if you have a crappy computer,
your gonna get crappy performance.
Personally, I'm on a pretty decent computer,
and I rarely have lag with the computer settings
on High Performance.

well most of time people are using fairy magic just to get some place faster so..
i think when ppl turn on their fairy magic they should be sent to another server where only fairies are allowed. that way the only ppl getting lag will be the ppl that have fairy magic on =]
