Say you're read about a 490 page book. The plot is exciting and the book is filled with jokes, mysterious acts, and wonderful, fantasy things.

You take your time reading every part and you get a 100% on your test without cheating.

How long does it take you to read it?

I'd say about 1-5 hours. :D

I can't read really fast because then I don't understand what I just read. I put down a week because I can't just sit down and read a book because of homework and other activities.

probably 1-5 hours. I'm a pretty fast reader and can still understand what i read.

I can read quickly, but if I want to retain the information, I have to take it slow.

I'm a REALLY Fast Reader.
My Mom, My Best Friends, and My Teachers All Say I Am.
I Read twilight In About 4 Hours.
So, The 490 Page Book Would Be Pretty Easy.

omg i LOVE reading!!
i read really fast and can still comprehend it :D
like i finished the 7th HP book in like 6 hours (but thats prolly bc i didnt stop bc i LOVED it!!)

it takes me a few hours book twilight is taking me a long time even though i just got it and am half-way through chapter 3

I could probably read it within 1-5 hours if I sit down and read without stopping. I'm a really fast reader, lol.

i usally can read like 2 twilight chapters (idk how many pages it is) in an hour
but other than that i'm usally slow (:

Uhhh it depends on the book. If its for school i normaly dont read at all lol. Stay in school kids do all your work and be nerds lol jk!

depends if im sidetracked or not =]
normally i get sidetracked or bored then come back to it
but it would take me 6-10 hours

i think it really depends on the book. im a fast reader if im interested in the book. i never really timed myself for how long i read, but usually i can finish a 300-400 page book in a day or two but thats with doing other things like hw and chores. idk if thats fast, but its fast to me
